A particularly interesting article was one in Kenya. This was about the establishment of the first inclusive early childhood centre in Kibera, a slum settlement by a former school teacher. This program welcomes all children regardless of their health status or disabilities which is different from the norm in Kenya where disabled children area usually institutionalised. Their main goal is to help children have positive outcomes in life. These children receive medial checkups as well as eat healthy meals at school (The Global Fund for Children, 2018).
This gesture has helped to achieve inclusivity as well as equity and excellence for young children within the community because they all have a chance to acquire the skills and knowledge needed for primary schools. Graduates of this program return to mentor the young ones which has added to the success story of the program (The Global Fund for Children, 2018).
I have learned that inclusivity is a huge part of equity and excellence in the field of early childhood education and therefore should be advocated for relentlessly.

I believe the Kenyan government is demonstrating great care for the development of young children by offering free primary school for all children. Thanks for sharing information around the globe with GFC.
